Welsh Guidance
The Welsh Government lifted further restrictions on 7 June 2021. As a result of these changes groups of 30 can now meet outdoors including public areas and private gardens. This group of 30 does not include children or carers which are counted separately.
Outdoor hospitality, including bars and restaurants has also resumed. Holiday accommodation is similarly permitted to reopen.
Extended households can include up to three households. These households are permitted to meet indoors and make overnight stays. Wedding receptions are also permitted – with a maximum of 30 guests if the event is held indoors.
Unlike England, the advice in Wales with regards to overseas travel is very much to avoid this. First Minister Mark Drakeford has urged people to stay in Wales this year and only go abroad for essential reasons.
