JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager (Marinas)

SALARY: £40-£50k OTE £70k
LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK:
Elite Dynamics has a flexible remote work policy for its employees. As Business Development Manager (Marinas) you will travel across the UK to meet with customers to achieve agreed KPI’s.
You will normally work between 37 and 40 hours a week, 9:00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Fridays. Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines, which could include evenings and weekends. Ultimately, we are a team of self-motivated professionals who are trusted to manage their time optimally.

Elite Dynamics is a leading provider of cutting-edge technology solutions, specialising in Microsoft Dynamics-based software for the holiday park, marina, holiday home dealerships, and holiday home manufacturing industries. We are seeking a Senior Salesperson to join our supportive and ambitious team of 4 to take ownership and drive sales growth specifically within the marina sector.
As a Senior Salesperson, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the marina industry. Your primary focus will be on selling our Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions tailored to their specific needs and drive sales growth, utilising your existing network within the marina industry. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Identify and target potential clients within the UK marina sector.
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client and propose tailored Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions to address those needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
- Manage end to end sales cycle from initial lead generation to final presentation and signing of contracts with support of the nominated pre sales consultant.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions, keeping up-to-date with product updates and industry trends.
- Use the approved standard pricing sheet/system.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and quotas.
- Engage with the marketing team and supporting their campaigns and follow up lead activity.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospects.
- Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and quotations for potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts to close deals effectively.
- Regular update all internal systems in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with the implementation and support teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Several years of successful sales in B2B technology, with expertise in the marina industry
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales
- Experience of technologies in SaaS
- Access to a vehicle and the willingness to travel as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
- 30 minute screen with Head of HR
- 45 minute interview with the CEO
- 60 minute presentation and Q&A with Commercial Manager & CEO
OTHER REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO THE JOB:
To undertake any reasonable task requested of you by your line manager, or other Elite Dynamics Management. Any tasks requested by other Elite Dynamics Management need to be discussed with your line manager.
