Wescom Group appoints Ella Isiraojie as  Business Development Manager – Medical

Emmanuella (Ella) Isiraojie has been appointed as Business Development Manager Medical ANP Pharma Ltd, a Wescom Group company. 


Responsible for global business development, Ella has over 16 years of expertise working in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical and medical distribution industry.  At ANP Pharma, Ella’s role includes developing the global market for ANP’s services, which include need-based pharmaceuticals, medical consumables and medical equipment.  This includes driving the business growth of various marine sector specific industries to include, cruise lines, marine leisure (superyachts, boating), commercial marine offshore and renewable energy sectors. 

Ella has joined Wescom Group from Universal Marine Medical, where she was Key Account Manager for accounts globally based out of the UK. With a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy gained at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, Ella completed a Master’s in health management planning and policy in Public Health at the University of Leeds, where she was awarded the John Griffith Prize for academic achievement.  Ella’s working experience includes roles in sales, pharmacovigilance, market access and account management teams with Novo Nordisk, Johnson and Roche.  

She says: “As a qualified pharmacist and a sales professional, I bring a wealth of expertise and experience to ANP Pharma and Wescom Group of customers.  My role involves understanding the medical needs of the marine industry whilst leveraging ANP Pharma’s variety of services offering advisory/consultation and providing a regulatory compliant comprehensive medical chest on board, ensuring health, safety and wellbeing for seafarers and patients in remote locations. Engaging on topics such as the right medicines formulary for use, right storage and disposal of medicines according to International Pharmaceutical regulations, IMO and WHO requirements. I provide training information on a wide variety of health topics for sea farers and patients in the marine and health sectors respectively.” 

Ella will be attending Wescom events including CLIA Cruise Week-Rotterdam, Sea Trade Cruise Global in Miami, Seawork Southampton and IMPA London.
