Marine communications agency appoints new Account Director

Marine specialist communications agency, ADPR, announces the appointment of Chris Penfold to its award-winning consultancy.

Joining the agency as an Account Director, Chris brings 15 years of strategic PR experience to the team, including specialisms in travel and tourism, hospitality and event management. Most recently at KOR Communications and previously with Barefoot Media, Chris was the senior strategic lead on clients including Rock Oyster Festival, Pentire Drinks and Padstow Christmas Festival, and was part of a team developing multiple, award-winning campaigns.

With a particular passion for digital marketing, Chris will spearhead the agency’s Digital PR offering and support with new business development – something he led in his previous roles and will continue at ADPR.

Within his new role, Chris will be responsible for developing engaging and meaningful communication strategies for his clients, including Sunsail, boatfolk and Ferne Animal Sanctuary. Chris will also lead the agency’s own PR and marketing, integrating traditional and digital activations, alongside the agency’s growth ambitions.
