There is something familiar about the new Netflix Original action comedy, Back in Action, that has been released by the popular streaming service.
Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding’s luxurious superyacht tender, Grace, can be seen taking her turn in the spotlight during a thrilling night-time chase along the River Thames with none other than leading American actress, Cameron Diaz, at the helm.
15 years after vanishing from the CIA to start a family, elite spies Emily (Ms Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx), jump back into the world of espionage, but this time, with their kids in tow.
Directed by Horrible Bosses’ Seth Gordon and with a script by Neighbours’ writer, Brendan O’Brien, the movie also stars Glenn Close and marks Ms Diaz’s return to acting. The movie currently sits in the number one spot on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Movies list, with tens of millions of views.
Cockwells’ Duchy Sport, the family fun boat for active watersports enthusiasts, also takes part in the action.
“Our ultra-cool, custom-built vessels are no stranger to the limelight,” explains Founder and Sales Director, Dave Cockwell. “Our head-turning Titian Tender has previously starred in The Thrill of the Chase, a promotional campaign for international fashion brand, Michael Kors, featuring Bella Hadid and Alton Mason, and our Duchy 35 has appeared in bestselling author, Rosamunde Pilcher’s popular German TV series.
Our superyacht tender, Grace, is powered by twin 250hp Yanmar engines, propelled by outdrive legs and hits a speedy 38 knots, which is perfect for action shoots,” adds Dave Cockwell. “If you require beautiful bespoke boats for films and advertising campaigns, look no further than Cockwells.”
