British Marine Kent & Sussex is delighted to invite members and guests to a unique day of networking and friendly competition at the British Marine Kent & Sussex Networking & Shooting Event 2025. Taking place on Wednesday 30 April at West Kent Shooting School, this highly anticipated event blends business and sport, offering the perfect opportunity to connect with industry peers while enjoying the thrill of clay shooting.

Whether you’re an experienced shooter or picking up a shotgun for the first time, the day is designed to be fun, inclusive, and engaging. With expert instructors on hand to guide participants through the morning’s practice session, even complete novices will feel confident taking part in the afternoon’s competition.

The event kicks off at 9:15 AM with a hearty breakfast of bacon and sausage butties, fresh coffee, and tea—an ideal way to fuel up for the day ahead. After a warm welcome and safety briefing, teams will head out to the shooting stands for the morning practice session. Under expert instruction, participants will have the chance to hone their skills and get comfortable with the sport before the real competition begins.

Following a Ploughman’s networking lunch, the competition will officially get underway. Shooters will put their practice to the test in a scored event, competing as individuals, in teams of eight, or in the newly introduced Inter-Association Challenge. This exciting addition to the 2025 event sees teams of four from different associations battle it out for ultimate bragging rights, adding a fresh layer of competition to an already thrilling day.

As the competition draws to a close, participants will gather for the prize-giving ceremony, celebrating the top performers before enjoying a final round of networking over drinks.

The cost to attend is £150 per person for British Marine members and £170 for non-members. Team entries are available for groups of eight, while those keen to represent their association in the Inter-Association Challenge can enter in teams of four.
