Cockwells Modern and Classic Boatbuilding is proud to reveal the first renders for a 9.8m limousine tender, which the company has designed exclusively for a renowned international client. The designs for this striking new tender will be available to view at Stand QJ5 at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, which runs from 25 to 28 September.
This semi-production 9.8m limousine tender will form an integral part of an ultra-luxe yachting experience and exude the ultimate in bespoke craftsmanship, exceptional comfort and opulent indulgence.
With rich timber veneer, an expansive glass roof, a spacious aft deck and the capacity for 12 guests to relax in style, the exquisite design and detail of this tender will beautifully match its mothership at every opportunity.
Reaching speeds of up to 35 knots, guests will be sure of a smooth ride aboard this tender, which will feature twin Yanmar 4LV 250hp engines coupled to a joystick control for pin-point accuracy and manoeuvrability. A seakeeper will also be installed for enhanced stability. Custom stainless-steel detailing, sophisticated lighting and a self-launching anchoring system will offer considered practicality as well as a touch of tailor-made luxury.
Luxurious leather seating will line the fully air-conditioned cabin and a full-width glass roof with sliding centre section will deliver extensive views. A seamlessly integrated audio system, touchscreen chart plotter, an automated drinks cabinet and refrigerator will complete the interior scene.
“We are humbled to be given the opportunity to create these ultra-luxe tenders that will undoubtedly become benchmarks in the industry,” explains Cockwells’ design director, Henry Ward. “We feel that this project perfectly aligns with the Cockwells ethos, combining elegant and timeless design with modern boatbuilding construction techniques and the latest on-board technology.”
“It has been an honour to work alongside the client’s team to create this highly customised design, achieving a level of luxury and attention to detail that its discerning clientele has come to expect.
“At this stage, we can confirm two orders of this exclusive semi-production tender with the potential for more in the future when our client builds further mothership vessels.”
“A warm welcome awaits visitors to our stand at the Monaco Yacht Show to view the plans and a scale model of this new 9.8m Limousine Tender, which will demonstrate the world-class craftsmanship, technological prowess and contemporary styling for which Cockwells is renowned across the world,” comments founder, Dave Cockwell.
“Our team will be on hand to share information about the superlative sets of tenders that we have recently delivered, as well as the latest projects we have been commissioned to design and build. We look forward to meeting you at Stand QJ5 within the Tender Show at Monaco to discuss your unique tender requirements.”
