British Marine will once again be heading to the CTS24 Motorsport Engineering & Technology Show on the 16 October at Silverstone to promote Marine Industry opportunities to the Motorsports Industry.
Following a successful Motorsports Industry Association visit to the Southampton International Boat Show in September, when 30 motorsports industry professionals visited the show to identify opportunities for cross-sector technology transfer, British Marine will be hosting a session at CTS24 to encourage continued collaboration between our two sectors, followed by a presentation from Adam Huckstep, Managing Director of Hypermotive. He will share details of their X-M1, a unique platform for hydrogen fuel cell-based power generation tailored to marine applications.
The MIA and BM Motorsport to Marine partnership has resulted in a number of cross-sector collaborations over the past six years, resulting in the successful bringing to market of some of the most innovative new marine products.
British Marine members are encouraged to attend the day free of charge where British Marine will be able to introduce you to possible new partners and solution providers to help your business challenges.
To attend please book your ticket at the following link and drop us an email at technical@britishmarine.co.uk explaining what you would like to source or who you would like to talk to.

“Thanks to British Marine for hosting Cosworth as a delegate of the MIA at the International Boat Show. The event created an opportunity for members across the motorsport and marine industries to network and explore how their capabilities can transition markets for mutual benefit. The marine market insights shared are valuable and support ambitions to grow our current marine portfolio.” - Ian Palmer, Cosworth
“Thanks to the MIA team for organising the event at the Southampton Boat Show. As always very well run and organised and I really appreciate the introduction to British Marine trade association. Having not really been aware of British Marine, it was really interesting to learn from Ross Wombwell about all the activities it undertakes and who it represents. Also, I enjoyed his guided tour around the show where he shared so much knowledge about how the maritime industry operates, the key players and their scale of operations. Not to mention the highlight of getting to set foot on the fantastic boats from some of the best UK luxury brands! Something to learn from.” - Rob Pigott, Peregrine
