Get ready for a fantastic day of networking and shooting at the Kent & Sussex Annual Shooting Event on Thursday, 17th October! 

This popular event promises to be an unforgettable experience set in the beautiful surroundings of West Kent Shooting School, near Tunbridge, Kent.

Event Schedule

• 9:00 AM – Arrive at the Shooting School

Kick off the day with delicious bacon and sausage butties served in freshly baked baps, along with coffee, teas, and fruit juice. Meet your fellow attendees and instructors who will guide you through the day’s activities.

• 10:00 AM – On the Range

Split into teams for an introductory safety talk, followed by an instruction and practice session on varied English sporting stands. Whether you're a novice or an experienced shooter, there’s something for everyone!

• 12:00 PM – Refreshments

Recharge with a mid-morning tea or coffee and light snacks in our pavilion.

• 12:30 PM – Scored Competition

Head back to the range to tackle the same traps as a friendly competition. Test your skills and see how you stack up against fellow members!

• 2:00 PM – The Finale Pheasant Flush

Experience the thrill of the Driven High Tower layout as it transforms into an exciting team-driven flush! Under the watchful eyes of your instructors, you’ll load as fast as you can and aim for every clay in sight.

• 3:30 PM – Ploughman’s Lunch

After the shooting excitement, gather in the pavilion for a delightful ploughman’s lunch featuring off-the-bone ham, cheddar cheese, salad, beetroot, pickles, coleslaw, and crusty bread, accompanied by crisps and fruit.

• 4:00 PM – Prize Giving

Celebrate your achievements!

1st Prize: An elite sailing shorebased course (VHF, First Aid at Sea, Marine Diesel Engine, or Radar) valued at £145.

2nd Prize: A bottle of bubbly sponsored by Medway Bridge Marina.
