Tack and Jibe is a brand-new online boating classified platform with huge plans for expansion within the industry. Once the classified site is launched, plans to roll-out a marine-focused website design and hosting service will follow, and in-time, a bespoke CRM system. All of the platforms will be designed to communicate with each other as well as having totally free and open API access to third party providers.

Until a few months ago, Tack and Jibe was just a great idea and a long-term passion project for its two founders. The company began via the 2024 Southampton International Boat Show. The founders visited to take a look at new and emerging technologies, meet and greet with potential clients, and generally just have a good time. Walking through the gates, one broker became a confirmed client prior to launch; at the end of the day, the business had four confirmed brokerages along with another five to six organisations interested in being third-party advertisers on our site.

The success experienced at SIBS 24 played a pivotal role in the development of the Tack and Jibe platform and ignited passion even further. Site launch is now imminent, with over 500 boats ready to publish and the organisation is a proud member of British Marine.
