Viking Maritime Group is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Horton as its new Operations Director (Scotland), effective 29th April 2024. With a remarkable background in maritime operations and a proven track record of leadership, Matt brings a wealth of experience to his new role, positioning Viking Maritime Group for continued growth and success in the global maritime industry.

As Operations Director, Matt will assist with all operational aspects of Viking Maritime Group's business, including crew management, cadet operations, training, ship management, and maritime consultancy. He will work closely with clients and the executive team and will be committed to delivering exceptional service. 

Matt joins Viking Maritime Group from his previous role as General Manager at a leading maritime company, where he played a pivotal role in optimising operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and enhancing client satisfaction. His comprehensive understanding of the marine sector will help with Viking Maritime Group's operations and drive sustainable growth.
