Rib Shack Marine is delighted to announce that it has joined forces with Akis Zissis, of Southampton & Portsmouth Rib Charter, and Joshua Chapman, who together join the company as Directors to build the next chapter for the business.

Colin & Helen Vine set up Rib Shack Marine in 2003, which has grown due to their passion and dedication to ensure that their boats and clients remain at the forefront. This strategic merger has taken place after discussions lasting over a year, ensuring complete understanding, mutual standards and visions that can coexist.

Southampton & Portsmouth Rib Charter has grown from strength to strength since Akis started the company a decade ago; from the very first Ribeye, “Aquaholic” to the current fleet of four dedicated charter vessels and a network of professional skippers offering both skippered and bareboat charters. A genuine love for being on the water has always been at the heart of what Akis does, therefore he felt there was always something else out there that he could offer his knowledge and expertise in the industry.
 
Josh met Akis three years ago through their combined interest in the marine industry and straight away knew that they would end up in business together. Ever since then, Josh has always been exploring the best way to channel his energy into a new challenge. Josh will deliver a fresh approach to the business, collaborating with Akis to develop new ideas and drawing upon years of family business experience to position Rib Shack as leaders in the industry. 
  
The team are all so excited to see what the future holds for the brand with Akis and Josh at the helm. Building on the solid foundations built by Colin & Helen and bringing a new energy into this realm, Rib Shack Marine promises brilliant boating for new and existing clients.
