Wimborne, UK – Caterpillar Marine Power UK Ltd (CMPUK) marks 30 years of ISO 9001 certification with accreditation body LRQA.
CMPUK first obtained the qualification in 1993 and subsequently made the decision to maintain the standard, going through the renewal process every three years. CMPUK has successfully transitioned across multiple revisions of the standard, 1994:2000:2008:2015, each time continuing to improve and refine its business processes.
Daniel Bhagwanani, Caterpillar Marine Power UK Ltd.’s Quality Manager, goes on to explain why maintaining ISO9001 accreditation is embedded throughout the business: “ISO9001 by name is a quality management standard, but it reflects the performance of process management across the entire business. It is a globally recognised standard; holding certification gives confidence to our customers and business partners in our abilities to meet our commitments.”
ISO9001 accreditation also supports the business in a wider context as it enables the company to hold and maintain product approvals for a wide range of Marine Classification Society product and emissions certifications.
CMPUK Ltd is committed to maintaining its ISO9001 accreditation to meet and exceed customer requirements both today and in the future.
