There are various sources of Training and Funding in your local area. The International Team and The Department for International Trade (DIT) work very closely to bring you not only financial support but also an extensive knowledge base including accessing new markets, exports laws and legislation.

Many agencies are able to provide business support whether you are considering lean manufacturing, need advice on HR procedures, or help with any of the tasks undertaken to run a business.

ICOMIA and the IMO

British Marine is a member of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), which holds a consultative seat at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). International Standards Development - British Marine

ISO publishes standards on a vast range of subjects, including small craft (under 24m by ISO/TC188) and large yachts (over 24m by ISO/TC8/SC12). British Marine represents the marine industry at each of these standards committees and the many working groups that fall under the control of the principal committees.

Superyacht UK Annual Report 2018
