Have your say on a definitive trade remedy for imports of continuous filament glass fibre products

Published on: 16 November 2020

The Department for International Trade has announced a Call for Evidence on a definitive trade remedy measure which was imposed by the European Commission on 24 June 2020.

The definitive trade measure refers to the imports of continuous filament glass fibre products that originated in Egypt.

From January 2021, the UK will operate its own independent trade remedies policy. The Call for Evidence is a chance to have your say on whether this measure should be included in the UK’s policy.

Producers of these products should complete Annex A and complete questions 1-6, and 8-13 in Annex B. If you are not a producer but would still wish to submit evidence, then you should complete questions 7-13 in Annex B.

The consultation will close on Friday 4 December 2020.
