The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) has released the Outcome Report from its second consultation on the grandfathering review of older domestic passenger vessels.
The consultation ran from 29 May to 10 July 2019, on proposals resulting from a review of the standards relating to older domestic passenger vessels, which are currently less stringent in some areas than those which are applied to new build vessels. A total of 52 responses were received from across the UK to the consultation. The MCA has now released the consultation outcome report which can be found here.
