A new Marina and Boatyard Operative Standard has been approved for delivery and published on the Institute for Apprenticeships website. The standard is the work of the employer group chaired by Jon Eads CMM of Salterns Marina Ltd and has been developed over for the last two years in line with the Government’s apprenticeship reforms. It is also a core and options standard, which the employer group feel will meet the needs of marinas and boatyards.

Full details of the new Standard can be found on the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) website here. The contents on the IfA website includes the Standard itself, the End Point Assessment (EPA) Plan and the maximum Government funding for the new standard which is £10,000.
