As British Marine South West, we are your local voice and support for marine businesses in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Avon, West Dorset, the Isles of Scilly and the Channel Isles.
As a member of British Marine South West, your organisation benefits from high-quality support and services across a wide range of marine sectors and business disciplines. At the same time, you have full access to the largest marine sector information hub in the UK.
From sole traders to large enterprises, British Marine South West members are briefed on changes to law and practice. We connect the local marine industry, help you grow your business, save costs and develop best practice. Each Spring, you are invited to join the British Marine South West Regional Conference – an event that is designed to meet and network with your colleagues in the South West. As a member, you also receive complimentary tickets to the Southampton International Boat Show to invite your staff or customers.
At a national level, British Marine is the trade association for the leisure marine industry and we strongly lobby for appropriate support and legislation at all levels. Being part of British Marine means you can display the BM logo on their marking material demonstrating commitment and participation in the marine sector.
The South West is among the most significant British Marine regions, accounting for over 31.4% of UK marine turnover and providing nearly 10,000 jobs across the region.
