About us
The BHBF represents operators of holiday hire cruisers and yachts and day-hire craft on the Norfolk Broads. The Federation also represents the two boat holiday marketing agencies Hoseasons and Waterways Holidays, in a non-commercial capacity. As a National Park, the whole of the Broads navigation is located in an environmentally sensitive area. The BHBF works closely with the Broads Authority on all navigation matters and on preserving the environmental and economic sustainability of holiday boating.
All Broads Hire Boat Federation members are required to sign up to our Quality Accredited Boatyard Scheme, details of which can be found here.
Following the announcement of the Broads Authorities intention to make the QAB scheme a mandatory requirement for hire boat licensing, British Marine has announced a special price for BHBF members which is available until the end of August 2022.
