Our new fleet maintenance assistant will assist in the efficient maintenance, operation and performance of the Pure Latitude Fleet of motor and sail boats. Ensuring all boats are maintained to a safe and sea worthy standard and that all scheduled cleaning, maintenance, repairs and emergency work are carried out as required.
Working closely with the fleet manager you will be involved in all aspects of maintaining a fleet of sail and motor boats. Responsibilities will include:
Routine boat checks
Maintenance / repair work to all boat systems
Antifouling, polishing and winter refit work
Boat preparation, cleaning
Customer induction, skippering, and instruction
Liaising with customers over operational Issues, faults and systems queries
You’ll need a hands-on practical approach to finding engineering solutions to the varied problems thrown up by boats, be able to work with in a small team and adapt to the needs of a rapidly growing business.
Engineering qualifications, RYA practical qualifications and ability to handle boats in a marina would be advantageous. We are also interested in hearing from practical minded people who are enthusiastic to learn and get into the industry.

Salary: £18,000.00 to £25,000.00 /year
