Job Role: PR & Communications Manager
Annabel joined the British Marine in 2014. Before joining British Marine, she worked in both independent PR agencies and in-house PR teams in a range of not-for-profit and consumer brands.
Annabel strategise and leads PR campaigns for both British Marine and its events. She maintains strong relationships with specialist marine press whilst managing and working with appointed PR agencies to secure a wealth of national, consumer, regional, trade and broadcast coverage worth in the region of £5m annually. Annabel also helps members with crisis management.
During Southampton Boat Show, Annabel ensures that the event’s dedicated Media Centre runs smoothly. With over 800 members of the press visiting the Show, she handles media enquires on-site, as well as being on-hand to facilitate interviews and filming.
In her spare time, Annabel likes to keep fit with a mixture of CrossFit and TurboBox. She also likes to participate in Tough Mudder and 10ks.
